WELCOME TO JIM'S AUTISM BLOG

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting our blog. My wife and I created this blog to chronicle our experience while raising a son with Asperger's syndrome. Since our son was diagnosed with an ASD at age 5, we've had a lot of questions. Lucky for us we have a great support network in place. And our blog gives us an opportunity to share what we've learned with our readers. We hope you find our blog informative and interesting. Thanks again for visiting.

SKATEBOARDING FOR AUTISM

I was just reading some news headlines and I came across this cool little article.  I'm not sure how new it is, but I liked it so much that I just had to share it.  The article is about a woman named Crys Worley who has a nine year old son with autism.  Worley started an autism foundation that revolved around skateboarding called A.Skate-Autism.  And the cool thing is that her life story is going to be made into a full length feature documentary/movie.  You can read more about it here.

  1. I tried to skateboard once, but I didn't like it too much. I wish Jacob would try to skateboard, but what can you do?
