WELCOME TO JIM'S AUTISM BLOG

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting our blog. My wife and I created this blog to chronicle our experience while raising a son with Asperger's syndrome. Since our son was diagnosed with an ASD at age 5, we've had a lot of questions. Lucky for us we have a great support network in place. And our blog gives us an opportunity to share what we've learned with our readers. We hope you find our blog informative and interesting. Thanks again for visiting.

TOP 5 FUNNY THINGS A BOY WITH ASPERGER'S HAS SAID

Isn't it funny how children with autism/Asperger's can have a wicked sense of humour?  My son Jacob is forever making us laugh, so we thought we'd post the top 5 funny things Jacob has said.

5  -  "When I grow up, I want to walk slowly like an old man."  This was said beside an old man that was walking in front of us.

4  -  "I don't like root beer, it's made with too much root.  I like Dr Pepper because it's made with ice cold peppers."

3  -  "Why is Chico wearing that white blanket?"  "He looks like a wedding woman."

2  -  "Are Bell Telephone and Taco Bell related?"

1  -  "Why do the Toronto Maple Leafs skate old?"  "They should skate young like the Chicago Blackhawks."

LOL.  Things are just funnier when they come from the mouth of a child with an ASD.

Like a wedding woman.
