Hi everyone and thanks for visiting our blog. My wife and I created this blog to chronicle our experience while raising a son with Asperger's syndrome. Since our son was diagnosed with an ASD at age 5, we've had a lot of questions. Lucky for us we have a great support network in place. SUMMER TRIP #2

So we took our second family trip on Monday and it was interesting, and yet it was exactly what we expected.  But even with Jacob getting car sick, being grumpy and the whole roller coaster ride taht asperger's brings, we still had a great time.  Here's a few pics.

 















Jacob got car sick while on the tour bus in the morning, which set the tone for the day.  Then he wasn't hungry which only added to the grumpiness.  But he loves animals, and did have fun as we travelled around looking for them.  One thing I noticed was that Jacob didn't seem as interested this year, but that could be from the upset stomach.  All in all, it was a great/tiring day.

    Sorry Jacob had an upset stomach, but glad he enjoyed the animals and you guys got trip #2 in before school starts! Great pictures.

      Thanks Kristy. We has a good time during the trip. You know yourself how unpredictable things can get when planning a family trip. And we're experts at rolling with the punches.
